Hurricane Ike "Adopt-A-Church" Ministry
The SBTC "Adopt-A-Church" Ministry seeks to connect churches affected by Hurricane Ike to other churches, associations, or individuals who wish to "adopt" one of these churches by providing much needed assistance.
SUGGESTED WAYS HOW YOU CAN ADOPT A CHURCH:
- pray for these churches, their pastors, and staff.
- send mission teams who can assist with construction, clean-up, repair, leadership training, and evangelISm.
- Provide salary supplements for church staff.
- take up a special offering to help churches with rebuilding and/or repair needs.
- Collect and send care packages that provide for basic needs, children's items, pastor's books, computers, etc...
