Church Library
The library ministry team should be trained in three areas: a) To win the lost. b) To grow the saved. c) To provide wholesome entertainment to enhance winning the lost and growing the saved. Our SBTC library team can provide training in all these areas in addition to the administration of the church library. The church library ministry team can be a ministry support for the pastor and his staff by having the latest information in media and knowing where to find what is needed for the different services of the church. Libraries enhance the ministry of the pastor by continuing his sermon with extra materials. The church library ministry team is a media support for the ministries of the church. From preschool to the Senior Adult, libraries have materials to enhance the Christian Life. Teacher training for special equipment and Bible study helps are available in the church library. New teachers will especially appreciate the willing, available help in learning to use the many materials available. The Southern Baptists of Texas Convention will provide training for those individuals interested in beginning a library ministry. |

Special services provided by the church library ministry team are open to all areas. Working with the church staff, the team is prepared to provide extra ministry services such as drama, storytelling, media fairs, book fairs, reading clubs, special Bible studies and classes on etiquette and manners for children as well as helps for home schoolers and many others .
