Churches of all sizes and types benefit from these events, and pastors have an unique opportunity to encourage their library ministry team to be a part of these training events and encourage their congregations to use the library for both study and entertainment. If you are unable to attend a conference and would like to host a conference in your association or church, contact the SBTC office or Rita Kirkland. We will be happy to work with you. Our goal is to have every library team trained and running smoothly in the ministry of winning the lost, disciplining the saved, and providing the best of media for each. These events are made possible by the Cooperative Program gifts of SBTC churches.

The church library is the perfect ministry to FOCUS on discipling families in the church and community. Church librarians and their teams will be encouraged in ways they can help support church ministries to families with special media, teaching times, and opportunities such as reading clubs, etc. Classes are designed to inform librarians and share how we as a ministry can serve all types and ages of families living in today’s culture.
